# General SPBR Rules
|

|
||
|
|
> **Note:** Some games have their own set of rules due to an extensive modding scene (such as Splatoon), so please read them and these rules carefully. You are subject to follow all SPBR rules, even if you do not read them all. We will ban players who do not follow these rules.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
### 1. **Use common sense**
|
||
|
|
We will not allow things that're clearly not okay.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
### 2. **Only fair play is allowed while online.**
|
||
|
|
Do not cheat in matches or in private matches if the person hosting the match does not say it is okay. There are rules for some games. The SPBR rules do not allow things like:

|
|
|
||
|
|
* Crashing players on purpose.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
* Being mean to other players or doing things that are generally frowned upon.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
* Using special tools to mess with the servers or other players internet connections.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
* Doing things to ruin the experience of finding and playing matches with other players.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
### 3. **Inappropiate player names are not allowed.**
|
||
|
|
Your Mii name and your SFID name should not be bad or inappropriate.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
### 4. **Server Side game modifications are frowned upon.**
|
||
|
|
You can only use mods that're safe to use with other players online in public matches. If you have mods that change the way the game works only use them in matches. Some games may have their special rules about this.

|
|
|
||
|
|
### 5. **Spoofing**
|
||
|
|
You cannot use tools like PID spoofers that try to prevent you from getting in trouble, for doing things on the network. The SPBR rules do not allow the use of SPBR rules prohibited network spoofers.
