2.6 KiB

1. Allowed Cosmetics and Client Mods

Cosmetic modifications are permitted. This includes hidden gear, the Octoling model, level spoofers (up to level 99), and ink tanks, provided the ink capacity remains at the vanilla level. Client-side visual mods like ink color changers, ForceNightTime, and model swaps are also allowed.

2. Spoofer Restrictions

You are allowed to use name changers within reason and icon spoofers. However, spoofing kill reasons or kill targets is strictly prohibited, as these can be used to increase damage or falsely shift blame onto innocent players.

3. Save Editing and Abilities

You are permitted to edit levels, ranks, gear, and abilities. However, changing main abilities is strictly prohibited. While save editing is allowed, intentionally editing your rank downwards to "smurf" (or upwards in extreme cases) to disrupt matchmaking is a bannable offense.

4. Prohibited Weapons and Kits

The use of hidden weapons (such as Roller_KingSquid or ?Shot_Msn0LvX), custom weapon kits with modified sub/special combinations, and any parameter alterations is strictly banned.

5. Unfair Gameplay Advantages

Only fair play is allowed. Prohibited cheating methods include infinite ink, rapid-fire, ESP (wallhacks), custom jump markers, or unrestricted movement hacks.

6. Exploits and Disruptions

Intentionally using crash exploits to disrupt other players' games is banned. This includes rapid-fire ink mines, spamming the ink strike, or purposefully disconnecting during Turf, Ranked, or Splatfest matches.

7. Trolling and Inactivity

Going AFK on purpose or deliberately refusing to participate in the match objective is not allowed and will result in a ban.

8. Host Regulations

In public matches, hosts must not alter ink colors, maps, game modes, timer, or lobby settings.

9. Splatfest Conduct

Changing teams on the same account or spamming votes to skew results is prohibited. Splatfest hosts are also barred from changing maps or disabling the "lost connection to team" error message. Forcing Day-Time during a Splatfest is also not allowed.

10. Cheating rules are exempt in Private Battles

Cheating or gameplay-altering mods are only permitted in Private Matches if the host and all participants have given explicit consent.

Waivers and Exceptions

Exceptions may be granted for certain rules if authorized by a staff member. Because matchmaking can be inactive, staff are likely to grant permission for testing if you ask beforehand. Do not hesitate to reach out before altering settings.
