Instalación - Wii U

SPFN soporta dos métodos para conectarse a nuestros servidores:

• Aroma Plugin (Requiere una Wii U modificada)
• SSSL (No requiere modificaciones pero sus funcionalidades son reducidas)

Elige el metodo que prefieras, luego sigue la guía correspondiente. Se advierte que SSSL tiene limitaciones comparado con el metodo de Aroma, es recomendado utilizar el metodo de Aroma si es posible.

Aroma

Requerimientos:

• Una Wii U modificada con Aroma
• Tarjeta SD (Preferiblemente de 32GB)
• Ordenador o cualquier otro dispositivo con acceso a tarjeta SD
• Una conexión a Internet

En orden para seguir está guía, necesitas tener una Wii U modificada con la última versión de Aroma disponible. Si tu consola no está modificada, sigue está guía. Si tu consola está modificada, verifica cualquier actualización de Aroma con Aroma Updater e instálala si hay alguna disponible. Si no puedes modificar tu Wii U, Sigue la guía SSSL en su lugar.

está guía duplicara el entorno de Aroma el cual te permitirá conectarte a nuestros servidores. Una vez completado, podrás cambiar entre Pretendo y SPFN cambiando de entorno al encender tu Wii U.

Asegúrese de no tener un usuario predeterminado configurado antes de configurar SPFN porque podria iniciar sesión con la cuenta equivocada. Para desactivarlo, enciende tu Wii U y cuando inicie sesión, pulsa tu Mii en la parte superior izquierda y desplázate hacia abajo hasta la opción etiquetada "Usuario Predeterminado" y desactívalo.

Si actualmente está utilizando los servidores DNS de Pretendo para conectarse a Pretendo, desactive el servidor DNS antes de continuar.

Paso 1: Preparación de la tarjeta SD

Conecta tu tarjeta SD en tu ordenador y navega a SD:/wiiu/environments

Haz una copia de tu entorno de Aroma y renómbrala a SPFN - Este será el entorno que utilizarás para conectarte a nuestros servidores.

Para los usuarios que anteriormente han utilizado el plugin Inkay de Pretendo, elimina los archivos plugins/Inkay-pretendo.wps y modules/Inkay-pretendo.wms en el tu entorno SPFN.

Descarga los plugin y módulos que se encuentran en la página de descargas - Asegúrate de activar los nombres de las extensiones de los archivos en tu explorador de archivos para tener a la vista las extensiones de los archivos.

• Inkay-spfn.wps va en la carpeta plugins
• Inkay-spfn.wms va en la carpeta modules

Con esos archivos instalados, puedes extraer la tarjeta SD de tu ordenador e introducirla en tu consola Wii U.

Paso 2: Configuración de tu consola Wii U

Enciende tu consola y mantén presionado X en tu gamepad para abrir el Cargador de Entornos.

Navega utilizando el D-Pad a SPFN y presiona A para seleccionarlo. Tu consola empezará a cargar el entorno de SPGN y conectarse a nuestros servidores.

En la parte superior izquierda de la pantalla, debería aparecer un mensaje que dice "Using SPFN".

Si ve el mensaje "Using Pretendo Network", NO CONTINÚE. Apague la consola y elimine los complementos de Pretendo como se indica en el paso 1.

Si no ve el mensaje "Using SPFN", es probable que no haya instalado el plugin correctamente. Verifique la ubicación de los archivos Inkay-spfn.wps e Inkay-spfn.wms.

Los servidores de SPFN están separados a los de Nintendo y Pretendo, así que, tendrás que crear una nueva cuenta para acceder a nuestros servicios. Ahora que tu consola está Conectada a nuestros servidores, deberías ser llevado a la página de cuentas. Presiona + en tu gamepad para crear una cuenta nueva. Sigue el proceso de creación de cuenta. Selecciona No cuando se te pregunte si tienes un NNID. Selecciona un Mii para tu cuenta. Cuando te pregunte de crear una cuenta, presiona Vincular.

Antes de continuar, Antes de continuar, confirma que el acuerdo hace referencia a Splatfestival Network. Si no, tus plugins están mal configurados. Retroceda al paso 1 y Asegúrese de que están bien ubicados.

Si hace referencia a Splatfestival Network, lea el acuerdo y presione Aceptar, después proceda a introducir la información de su cuenta.

NO REUTILICE CONTRASEÑAS CON MÚLTIPLES CUENTAS DENTRO O FUERA DE NUESTRA NETWORK

Una vez hayas creado tu cuenta, se te enviará un código de verificación para registrar tu correo electrónico. Quizás aparezca en tu bandeja de spam, así que búscalo antes de reenviar otro nuevo. Para introducirlo, inicia sesión con tu cuenta en tu Wii U y te preguntará por el código. Si ya estás con la sesión iniciada, presiona en tu Mii arriba a la izquierda en tu gamepad y selecciona Cambiar de Usuario. Entonces, selecciona tu cuenta de SPFN para iniciar sesión nuevamente. El mensaje debería aparecer.

Abre Splatoon y verifica que recibes noticias del juego.

Ya estás listo para jugar en Splatfestival Network! Únete al servidor de Discord para información de próximos Splatfest y noticias.

SSSL

SSSL does not support the full feature set SPFN has to offer, features such as the Miiverse applet and in game posting are not supported through SSSL and can only be used through the Aroma method. We currently don't have Miiverse fully functional on our servers, but once it is available, users connected through SSSL will only be able to view in game posts, not create them.

Requirements:

• Wii U
• An internet connection

If you have a modded console, it is recommended that you use the Aroma method instead, but if you wish to continue with SSSL anyways, ensure you either disable Pretendo's Inkay if present or make a duplicate environment without the Pretendo Inkay plugin and module. Guides to making a duplicate environment can be found in Step 1 of the Aroma guide above. Note that when switching between servers, you will have to disable or reenable SSSL by following this guide again.

Step 1: Console Configuration

SSSL uses the DNS settings of the console to redirect you to our servers. In order to connect, you must configure your active WiFi connection to use this DNS server.

Boot up your Wii U and log in. Open the System Settings app and navigate to Internet. In here, select Connect to the Internet, press X to open your Connection List and select your current internet connection.

Select Change Settings, then navigate to DNS. Change it to Do not auto-obtain and input the following values:

• Primary DNS: 45.85.147.85
• Secondary DNS: 1.1.1.1

The Wii U may automatically format the values you inputted so that, for example, the primary DNS may look like 045.085.147.085. This is normal and will still work correctly.

Then press confirm and press B to save the internet settings. The console will prompt you to perform a connection test, select Perform Test. The test should pass. Once this is done, exit the System Settings app by repeatedly pressing B to return through the menus. You should now be connected to SPFN.

Step 2: Creating an Account

SPFN's servers are separate from both Nintendo and Pretendo, so you will need to create a new account to access our services. Once you have exited System Settings, tap on your Mii in the top right corner to open User Settings, then select Switch User. Press + on your gamepad to create a new account. Follow the process of creating the account. Select no when prompted if you have an NNID. Select a Mii for your account. When asked to create an account, press Link.

Before continuing, confirm that the agreement references Splatfestival Network. If it does not, you may have configured SSSL incorrectly. Return to step 1 and ensure it is correctly configured. If this doesn't resolve it, contact a SPFN developer through the assistance channel of the Discord server.

If it does reference Splatfestival Network, read through the agreement and press Agree, then enter your account information.

DO NOT REUSE PASSWORDS ACROSS MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF OUR NETWORK

Once you have created your account, you will be sent a verification code to your registered email address. It may show up in your spam folder, so look around for it before resending a new one. To enter it, log into your account on your Wii U and it will prompt you for the code. If you are already logged in, press on your Mii in the top left of your gamepad and select Switch User. Then, select your SPFN account to log back in. The prompt should appear.

Open Splatoon and check that you get the news.
